In-vehicle Battery Testing & Evaluation

ECOtality North America performs in-vehicle battery testing for vehicle manufacturers, battery consortiums, battery companies and governmental agencies. In-vehicle battery testing includes the measurement and analysis of cycle-life, battery performance relative to various drive cycles and temperature environments and end-of-life analysis and reporting.

In-vehicle battery testing can include both "defined drive cycles" where specific drive cycles are followed on a regimented basis, and normal fleet applications that place vehicles in typical high-mileage fleets to record and analyze how batteries perform on a real-world environment.
